GRM, Alternate Solution Environmentally Friendly Wood

WHEN was the concept of greening the middle voiced everywhere. No exception for products based wood substitute.
On the basis of the concept of “think green”, was born plastic wood composite product innovation GRM to the floor, celling, wall panels, windows blinds, fence series, and various other applications.
“GRM was launched with the intention of reducing illegal logging in the forest,” said Managing Director of Green Resources Materials PN Teo told reporters while unveiling the GRM product at Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Thursday (07/01/2010).
So, why is called a green product? Said Teo, because the raw material recycle GRM include wood dust, powder bamboo, and timber planting on farmland results, PVC, and several kinds of organic powders as a binder, and without containing chemicals.
“GRM is a technology from Germany, England, and America developed in Singapore and in production in Indonesia,” he added.
According to him, with raw materials, the GRM combines the best properties of wood and plastic. Besides weather-resistant, fire, water, insects, lingungan friendly, and durable.
“It can also be recycled, such as wood and applied with screws and nails. Also contains no chemicals, “he concluded.
