Clay used to make porcelain in fact generally use a low elasticity. They get wet faster, which means that small changes to the water content could produce major changes in work processes. Therefore, water content should always be taken to ensure that the clay is not too wet or too dry.
Porcelain can be categorized into three, hard-paste, soft-paste, and bone, depending on the number of pasta that is used to form the body of porcelain objects. In forming porcelain, usually less elastic material which makes the formation of porcelain became more difficult.
For home decor, porcelain that are often located in residential houses is the flower vase, cups, dishes, tea set, or garnish the shelves and tables in the form of figurine.
“We have competition in the use of porcelain and crystal tight enough because each is a fee that is a popular decoration and already has its own fans. In fact, there are also people who combine the two for interior decoration of their homes,” said Hidayat.
